Where To Eat: Roanoke, Virginia
On the way down to and the way back from Tennessee we stayed in Roanoke, Virginia. On the first end of the trip we ordered Chinese food from a restaurant named Golden China and we were highly impressed! Their Crab Rangoon was some of the best I've ever had. Jamison ordered Beef with Broccoli and was very pleased with the brown sauce it was cooked in and Alexis liked her Vegetable Lo Mein. They were very reasonably priced and the food was great! If you're in the Roanoke, Virginia area give them a call at (540)-562-1608.
On our way back from Tennessee we decided to try the Mexican restaurant that was down the hill from our hotel named El Toreo, because I love me some Mexican food! Jamison had the Beef Fajitas and I had one of the vegetarian plates. I also had a Xanga for dessert (a cheesecake type dessert wrapped into a tortilla and fried, served with ice cream and chocolate sauce!) that was to die for! We both agreed that it was some of the best Mexican food we had had in quite a while! They have several locations throughout the Roanoke, Virginia area so if you're passing through, or even if you live there and have never eaten at one of their locations, check them out! They are very reasonably priced and the food is delicious!
