What's For Dinner?
I'm thinking some sort of stir fry tonight. I have some tofu I need to use. Most likely there will be some snow peas, carrot, scallion, perhaps some broccoli and mushrooms, with some nori shreds and maybe some edamame over brown rice. I'll make Jamison some beef stir fry with rice as well.
What are you having?

I'm about to write 3 words that aren't your favorite if you want to skip reading my comments: Rachel Ray sauerkraut
I like the early RR and the early cookbooks. There is a recipe for a kielbasa stirfry with onion, kale, sauerkraut, and ground mustard. The side is pierogi pot stickers with herb sour cream. I buy nitrate-free kielbasa from Trader Joe's and use pierogis with potato and onion. My husband LOVES this meal and though he claims to not have cravings (I'm always telling him about mine) he actually asked for this meal. This is his first request in over five years!

We had grilled chicken breast, a salad (cucumber, tomatoes, leeks, mozz. cheese w/ homemade dressing), and a couple of slices of homemade bread.
Cozy and comforting for a rainy day! :)

My father would probably like that meal. He likes sauerkraut and kielbasa.
