What's For Dinner?

What's For Dinner Graphic

We are having chicken fajitas this evening (minus the tortillas for Jamison). I put the chicken and spices in the slow cooker this morning and I'll make some Mexican rice for me and some plain rice for Alexis and Jamison. I serve the fajitas with roasted onion and peppers, cheese, avocado, beans, a little salsa and sour cream. Jamison eats his plain, possibly with a little cheese and Alexis usually eats the components, but not the whole. The left over chicken is great on salads!

What are you having?

Update: 7:28 PM: I ended up making some "Taco" Rice instead. I'm sure you'll be seeing a recipe for that soon! ;oP

I generally only have soup or something light like that for dinner, but today I only had a sandwich for lunch so I'm having a grilled turkey burger with tri-colored farfalle and peas.

hopefully - homemade french bread and some veggie soup! :)
(have I mentioned how difficult it is to mix dough and shape it when you have someone bopping in and out of your field of vision because he just.doesn't.want. to sit still in the sling??)

I've been meaning to play around with turkey burgers. I've never actually had one...

There is just nothing like a good grilled cheese sandwich!

Chicken salad is always good!

I didn't attempt to make any sort of bread until Alexis was much older. You're much braver than I! ;oP

If you all look back in the June 2008 archives (June 18, I believe) you can find Dianne's delicious General Tso's recipe.
