What's For Dinner? Alexis Picks!

What's For Dinner Graphic

Tonight we're having pulled pork, Dad's Cucumbers, some broccoli slaw and roasted potatoes for Jamison. Alexis decided she wanted to pick what we had for dinner tonight so this is what she came up with!

What are you having?

I know: we are going to have seasoned tri-tip that I got from the butcher yesterday. What I don't know: what are the sides because we had smashed potatoes and green beans last night which is what I make with the tri-tip often. I have leeks, salad makings, and fennel in the fridge so I'll have to investigate for recipes on the internet because I'm not in the mood to run to the store.

Indian Stew...
1 lb. lean ground beef or more
2 tbsp. chopped bell pepper
2 tbsp. sugar
1 can tomato soup
2 tbsp. flour
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 can (15 oz.) whole kernel corn
1 can (15 oz.) tomatoes
1/2 can water

Brown the beef, pepper and onions. Pour off liquid. Add the flour and stir well. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Simmer for about 40 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serves about 4-6.

That sounds good. I've never heard of that before.
