Did You Miss Me?

A Rose At My Mom's House

So have you missed me? I bet you thought I had fallen off the planet, but no, I'm still here, I've just been crazy busy. Life is like that I suppose.

The rose above is from my mom's front yard. Lex and I went on a little adventure last week and went to see "Grams and Pop"! We're actually going back to Tennessee in a couple of weeks. I love that Alexis travels well now. When she was a baby? Not so much! She was one of those "I'm going to scream until we get out of this car and never go to sleep!" kind of kids. She has never been the "Throw them in the car and they'll sleep until we get there!" kid AT ALL!

She has fallen asleep in the car FIVE times in her entire life.

FIVE!

And in case I didn't mention it, that was FIVE.

But I digress!

Anyway.....

I've got a couple of restaurant reviews coming up from the town I grew up in in Tennessee. If you're ever in the area you should check them out! I also have recipes for Roasted Garlic Ceasar Salad and a Gluten Free Cheeseburger Macaroni. My "garden" is going and I have plenty to tell you about that as well! Hopefully I'll be able to post something starting tomorrow, but we'll see how things go.

So I'm back...Sort of! Hope everyone out there in cyberland is doing well!

Yes, I've missed you so much! I can't wait to see pictures of your garden and CSA (? not sure if acronym is correct) farm produce Monday boxes.

i understand feeling like you have dropped out of the blogosphere especially when you don't post for awhile.

I'm actually not doing the CSA this year. We couldn't swing it, but I do plan on buying things from the farmer's market to supplement what I've planted!

It's good to be back! :o)
